Well.. we have some mixed thoughts here,

I have GT5 Prolouge ( The only RACE game I love also got need for speed pro street but *Yuck on that ).

And I got Killzone 2 (Which fking rocks and I do think ill play it more than resistance 2).

Okay... so for my own single amusement none seems like a ..great choice.

Now to the friends amusement ;

Motorstorm is really fun with mates against computer (Which is what im mostly talking about) My mates dont like Gran Turismo because they just want ppl to die or expload XD. So there is a bit of a diffrence here between GT and Motorstorm.

Resistance 2 was fun in Co-op and playing online with it, I think the me playing alone online wont happen as much as KZ2 and the me playing single online in Motorstorm wont happen as much as GT.

Which one has the best experience when playing with friends? Screw me but what will we enjoy the most and the longest.

Resistance 2's Co-Op online VS Motorstorm Pacifics Split Screen Against CPU's. Price is about same, Reviews (I follow gamespot) Resistance 2 = 9.0 | Motorstorm Pacific = 8.0,

There is no split-screen in Resistance 2 as far as I remember.

Dude, judging by your avatar, I do not suggest you pick up Resistance. The game is great and does things on a massive scale but holds nothing to Killzone 2. Go for PR.

Or, skip them both and save up for all those crackers coming this fall. Go go-kart racing or something with your mates instead :]

I think u should get both, they will release in October i think platinums for 30 bucks each.

U can only 2 players in Resistance co-op and yes the co-op is great.

Motorstorm has 4 player split screen, its fun to play with mates because its easy to pickup and has zero learning curve. Not much depth with this type of game but then again, none is really needed. You'll be too busy laughing your ass off... The elimination mode is probably some of the funniest shit to play while drunk.

Resistance 2 is good for online, NOT good for local co-op, the online co-op and competitive play is decent. Singleplayer is extremely annoying, the story was actually enjoyable and the voice acting far less grating (way better than Killzone 2's story) but the cheesy enemies really get to me and totally kills the immersion factor.

We're in a warzone with crap load of other soldiers around, some of them up front, right in the enemy's face and blowing the shit out of them with their gun and every single enemy heads straight for you like pack of Star War fanboys on a naked Leia.

Subterfuge is useless, enemy knows EXACTLY where you are behind wall, behind building, behind anything! Everyone has X-Ray vision and a 100 yard stare. I'm not complaining that it's a hard game (because its not THAT hard) but when the AI is coded in the such a cheap way to increase the difficulty, it destroy the immersion, I never once felt I was actually involved in a war, and the environment felt like lifeless wallpapers rather than the epic setting for the struggle of mankind's survival.

Resistance 2 was probably the best PS3 game I've played this year that had singleplayer/multiplayer.
The story mode was a lot longer than other games and it was interesting to play after playing the first one.
The online will keep you busy for a while.

I got both and I recomend Motorstorm PR. It´s a highly overlooked game, that despite that, is awesome. If you have Killzone 2 for MP, R2 becomes redundant, because the single player campaing is not that good. Motorstorm is good all over it.

BTW, if you didn´t upgrade your HDD, do it before getting M:PR, cause you can´t copy your saved data, just like Rockband.

Sell Need for speed pro street and get motorstorm (exactly like i did)
and then get Resistance 2

any game that you dont like needs to be sold ASAP.

I would say Motorstorm. ESPECIALLY since you already have Killzone2...
