You sure that's supposed to be Symphony of the Night 2? It looks like that was merely the early look of this new Castlevania. I just can't see the 360 and PS3 getting SOTN 2, since neither console gets many 2D titles at retail.

I can see it now... the main character has an evil brother, an organization of superpowered baddies to fight, and forces us to sit through 30 minutes of cutscenes at a time.
I hope so. I enjoyed the atmosphere of Castlevania 64 and the gameplay mechanics in Lament of Innocence were very functional. The series has the potential to be good in 3-D; it just needs focus, on platforming or action or something of the sort.
Kojima's ability to make gameplay work might be what the game needs.
But I hop he doesn't come within ten feet of the script.

The same was true for Street Fighter games, until now that is. Miracles do happen!

Huh? There are no good 3D Street Fighter games either. You do realize we're talking about the game's perspective and not 2D sprites vs. 3D models, right?

Uhm, Street Fighter 4 has a 3D perspective, it has depth like the Tekken and Soul Calibur titles. Right? Or what does it take to be called a 3D game?

He only touches the script if he is directing. His team is merely overseeing the development of the game.
