Wii is already dominating the charts in 2009. Its been selling the most, in hardware and software, pretty much since it came out. Games like Mario Kart Wii and WiiFit just exaggerate the figures further.

I don't know what there is to debate, unless you want to skew the numbers somehow with some specific genre or chart to make one type of game look better on the 360 or PS3.

While I am certain that the Wii will sell the most in 2010 (though not as much as this year) the OP makes a whole lot of assumptions, which kind of renders the entire post moot I'm afraid.
You could be right in some assumptions but should definitely have some more backing of such bold claims the next time or people will call you on it.

I do think it'll regain the momentum to breach 50% eventually, but who knows how well Sony and Microsoft will be able to mobilize in that time?

HD fanbois are retarded, they like talking about million sellers like they own shares or something. Wake up retards! The only games that break a mil on HD systems are games with large devs/publishers and sequels too. Niche, indie, original games dont stand a chance on those systems. People who call wii a monopoly box are fools, name ONE original, indie game to sell a mil on the HD machines. And sales dont represent quality, you make it sound like games that dont sell a mil arent playable or something. Oh, and despite the HD freaks nagging about million sellers the Wii sells the most software and Ninty has more revenue than Sony and M$ combined. God, I hate HD retards.

If we're counting DS as one of the platforms the Wii will dominate next year, I wholeheartedly disagree. I think the DS will clean the Wii's clock next year just like it's doing this year.

Oh, and I think hardcore is actualy stupidcore. Those "mature" games are actually immature and retarded. Proof? Just replace the blood with sparks or something (think, SoulCalibur, oh, and if SC had blood and cuts I'ld probably hate it) and see just how, "average" those games are. And Blood, and Fbombs aside most mature games have really standard if not retarded stories, heck some causual games have more mature stories. Valkyria Chronicles has almost zero blood but its story is a hundred times more mature than these "mature" games lyk Killzone 2 people keep raving about. Hardcore is a childish egotistic term that immature people use to make themselves feel good. Blood, fbombs, nudity and gore aside I see no difference between Zelda and God of war, Pikmin and Overlord etc etc The only "Hardcore" game I agree with is Bioshock cause it has a relatively good storyline with graphic visuals. Bioshock doesnt need cheap sex scenes and fbombs to prove a point.
