I loved Heretic! The mood and atmosphere was strong in that game, and it had a nice level and game world design. I wish someone would 'unforget' this franchise and revive it.

Maybe this is Heretic II. That was even better. But I remember I played Heretic 1 too:
Hostile Waters. mmm mmm mmmmmmm
And Severance: Blade of Darkness. Best swordfighting controls I've used.
Mischief Makers or Zombies ate my Neighbors
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Mine is God Hand. Ps2.
Seems like a lot of people have forgoten how great this game is/was. It was given a crappy 3/10 from IGN even though it deserved 9/10. A sequel to this great game is lost hope since this was the last game of Clover Studio. here are some pics. Also a hard game. You need skills.
Funny one.

God Hand would be my game as well. One of the best beat 'em up of 6th gen.
I wish I could say, but since it is forgotten, I don't remember what it is. As far as games that have been IGNORED, a game like Shadow of Memories/Destiny stands out for me, for not being noticed and ignored, and went under the radar. Shenmue might be another one (most Sega Dreamcast stuff would fit here, like Powerstone).
Hmmm... Just about any Saturn and Dreamcast game that was good and exclusive could be put here. (Maybe also some Gamegear games I remember playing for hours on the Shining Force Game)
Older Games
7th Saga (SNES) If level grinding and a challenge is what you want out of your RPG's then this is for you.
Oasis(Genesis, Gamegear, Saturn) this series started with Beyond Oasis on Genesis cotinued with Defenders of Oasis on Gamegear and I guess concluded with an actual Prequel to Beyond on Saturn. The Gamegear addition to the series was a standard Turn taking RPG (ala Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star) Beyond and Legend of Oasis(Legend being the Saturn addition to the series) Plays like Final Fight(Type moves you earn) + Legend of Zelda(Type Dungeons you explore in addition to weapons, items, and magical abilities you get) + Action RPG(At least in Saturn version there is a way you can go up in Ranks which is like a level up system in addition you can also get certain items to pump up your spirits in levels) + Aladdin(Artwork and Setting) while that sounds like alot it works.
Grandia?= Actually I thought this thing went greatest hits? How could that be overlooked... well whatever... I'll put it here because it's crazy good just in case.
Front Mission
Early Dragon Quest Games
Some TurboGrafix(Duo) Games should make this list as well.
Newer Games
Custom Arena Robo (DS) = Nintendo delivers a classic that is sadly overlooked.
Romance of the three kingdoms= Honestly one of the best strategy titles on systems throughout history(all the way back on Nintendo through PS2)
Devil Kings(PS2)= A more Arcade like Dynasty Warriors that is just plain awesome that got overlooked by most (Even DW fans) Unfortunately.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
