In the rest of the world (not counting US and Japan), the sales of PS3 adds up to 10.4 million and XBox360 adds up to 12.5 million consoles. But according to software sales, the PS3 version of the multiplat games consistently outsold the XBox version right now. Why?
depends on the game. 360's cod4 definitely outsold ps3's

I agree with Adobo. I don't understand why the 360 wouldn't outsell the PS3 in Others on software with a 2.1M lead besides that.
because there is nothing more that the us loves more than a good shooter and since most of the best xbox games are shooter more people will buy it

YAY americas no no longer part of the world, recall the troops the navies, we dont need to do anything anywhere outside of americas.... now to deal with south america
on topic, I feel though that tracking for all software in others is still sub par something we need to work on, hardware is getting close to spot on, but software is at best an educated guess, and therefore number constantly see revisions, and we may never know true sales
