Heavenly Sword has an average score of 79 on Metacritic.   How can it be "one of the most well reknowned games this Generation" when there are hundreds of games that are more renowned?

And why would "360 fanboys" care about a game with a 79 Metascore?  Do you really think they're not satisfied with any of the 154 games available on the Xbox360 with review scores higher than 79?

Theres a problem with that logic...Metacritic is the worst place to look for Reviews, It takes ALL review from EVERYOE...even the crackpot fanboy websites people make up just to screw with the score of game they hate and/or opposing console games.

You wil be hard pressed to find someone who played Heavenly Sword that will denounce it for anything other than its length.

No. It's always sucked and always has sucked. The only thing metacritic is good for is to go when you don't want to search for reviews since they are all gathered for you.

I do believe you are talking out of your ass. The reality is that both major compilation websites are both fairly consistent with one another. More to the point the average is within a few points of the mean. Then there is the fact that 44% of the reviews were within plus or minus five points of the average score. Move it ten points out and its 72% of the reviews. Three quarters of the reviews are falling in a twenty point band.

I think I just owned you. You spouted crap, and I just smacked the taste right out of your mouth. That is the problem with the blame game. Eventually it all comes back on you doesn't it. Next time you just might take the time to run the numbers before you go spouting off.

silly little trolls... I don't think this game didn't get a sequel because of sales.

Generally if new I.P. sells well enough they give it a sequel. If it doesn't they bury it. Sony has the development resources to make a sequel happen if it were a priority for them even if the original developer is out of the picture.

I hope you realise that long term tracking of games becomes sketchy when they drop off the top 40 charts. Also the game had a price cut or two quite early on and it was bundled. Combine all three and you have a game which probably lost money for Sony.
