Since the release of Pokemon Platinum I have been waiting for it and simply hasn't come, in Japan the update was within a month since the release of the game and here 4 months after and still nothing, iWill Nintendo ever do that update or not?

Edit: For those that dont know, neither My pokemon Ranch or Pokemon Battle Revolution recognize Pokemon Platinum.

Doing so would make sense.. so no, never.

They probably don't care. They'll just release a new game anb say "Hey everyone, this game can use your Pokemon from Platinum, buy it!"

They'll probably update Pokemon Ranch, but you can forget Battle Revolution getting updated since it is a disc based game.

It is possible, I would expect a sequel instead of an update though.

It could get updated, but I agree that it won't. This is probably because how old it is. I believe nintendo is making another pokemon wii game that will incorporate platinum though. Hopefully it is a better game than Battle Revolution.
