Well i still think that GT 5 will struggle to reach 10 milion in its lifetime, but it should become PS3's biggest game by some margin. ODST will sell fine but it wont sell near Halo's numbers

I think GT5 will struggle to reach 5 m (without bundling) tbh.

If Halo 3 was a GT game it would have final LTD numbers which would make it the 2nd or 3rd best selling GT game ever released. Depending on how the 360 performs it even has an outside chance of outselling GT3 since a certain % of Xbox 360 buyers get Halo because its synonomous with the Xbox brand.

hmm lowest selling GT is the 4 and its over 9.6 according to this site of course that game was released late and sometimes after GT3 which sold well over 14.89 million copies.

even if US sales are only 2 million GT5 will get easily to 10 million

These records include "Largest Number of cars in a Racing game", "Highest Selling PlayStation Game", and "Largest Instruction Guide for a Racing Game".

With a collective sales total of over 50 million units sold, it is the highest-selling PlayStation exclusive franchise of all time.

Wow, it won 7 records, and "Largest Instruction Guide for a Racing Game" was one of the 3 worth mentioning? It makes me wonder what the other 4 were. "Gran Turismoest game of the year"?

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Last I checked, GT5 was not going to come this year. Gamestop has it listed for February 2010

ok so its in th guiness world book or records, i'm sure Halo  in in there too.  But yeah GT will probably sell 7 million. the chances of it outselling Halo 3 are very very low.

Actually more then anything things point to it selling more.

GT is launching on a bigger user base then H3 did.

Racing is more universal then gunning down crap, it will sales everyhere.  GT does not depend on one marlet for 70% of its sales.

That +2m lt sales in Japan will make a dif at the end of it all.

Official WRC and Nascar, no racing fans on here so no surprise you dont understand the significance.
