They're not saying 41 people is MASSIVE layoffs, they're saying it was reported by a site called MASSIVELY.com, which is a site for news about MMOs... massively, get it?

41 was 5% of the workforce, you can do the math. IMO they employ a lot of people. For comparison, Level 5 has 205 employees, GG has around 130, Insomniac jas about 200, Naughty Dog has about 95.....

If 41 is only 5%, wouldn't that equate to ~800 people? That's a lot! I guess they do have a lot of MMOs going on, though.

Speaking of which wasn't free realms supposed to come out on the PS3? They already have more than 4 million registered users on the PC and I think I would download it on my PS3 just for shits and giggles ( and free trophies lol )

Good for you, but for the majority of the gaming world, we play console games and I want The Agency and DCUO on PS3 day and date with the PC version at the very worst case scenario.....well that is if the games are good, seems like they've gotten a lot better since going from SPE management to SCE management so.....

I feel for the people losing their jobs.

Hopefully they will have some sort of severance and allow them to land on their feet. Perhaps some social assistance as well, considering the tough economic times and job loss difficulties.
