I'd never pay more than $60 for a video game! Except ones that I am really looking forward to and are probably really good. Like Final Fantasy VII (PS3).. if only.
If the world does come to this, you could always find good deals online for games.

But we will all be bancrupt from Activision charging 20% more for their games. Why didnt they lower the price of games when the £ was strong? They are very quick to raise the prices when the £ is weak though...
If PS3 RRP goes up or above £65 i am going to start to pirate.

Not here in good ol' Germany
Just accounting for inflation and the fact that this gen will most likely last longer than the last one I can see games being 65$ a pop when the next gen starts in 3-4 years....

It is £120, I have just ordered it. The real rip-offs are the PSP Go $250 = £230 (price not confirmed yet, but very likely) and the standard game being £55 vs $60 |
Small correction but it's 47.5 pounds vs 60$ ( 55 pounds is price with VAT, 60$ is actually price without sales taxes, depending on the state people make their purchase the real price in US is usually around 65$ and the price without including taxes is 47.5 pounds in England).

apparently 149.99 pounds is official price tag made by activision. i know that PSP GO will 250 euro in europe(dunno if sony will do 1euro=1pound thing).
I would spend more in the far future, but I would hardly buy any new games.
