Squilliam Fancyson!?

Sorry, I could not help myself.

I understand Infinity Ward will have to make a separate copy that will be less successful, but it will still generate a nice profit.  The money is there, but Activision has to bend over and pick it up.

Its not that simple, if it were that simple they would be making COD MW2 Wii and it would release as well.

Some obvious reasons:

A. If producing a Wii version would lower the quality of the PS/360 versions they would not make it.

B. If they did not have the resources to produce a Wii version over the 24 month production period they would not make it.

C. If they could not produce a Wii version which met their standards it may not be released.

They can't let their quality slip, its a game repeated time and again and any slipups in quality could see the series drop in sales and some other series take its place.

You clearly haven't paid attention to Activision in the past few years.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

That's terrible, Wii owners are now missing out on the soon to be best online mp this year or gen. Well i guess technically speaking the wii couldn't it.

-PS3/360 peeps get MW2 and the wii misses out
-Wii peeps get the conduit and the PS3/360 misses out

you win some you lose some, seems to be the nature of things this gen. So if you want either of the games, then simply get the console that corresponds, otherwise put up with the fact you'll miss out, move on and play another game you like.

Infinity Ward has some say in it. The whole studio was made of people who packed up and left EA to form their own studio, the core of the Medal of Honour team. Whats to say they couldn't up and leave again if Activision did something they didn't like?

It's the nature of the industry. Remember, the industry was built on exclusives, NOT multiplatform gaming. I say, if you really want to play the game that isn't coming to your system, buy the system it's on (if you can). Otherwise, don't complain about it.

Every game doesn't have to be on every system. What would be the point of multiple systems if every damn game is mulitplat....?

I never understood that ridiculous logic...

Maybe because the idea of multiple systems is dying?

that would be Dennis Dyack's dream come true, he a big advocate for just 1 console and everyone develops on it, of course I don't agree with this as competition is always good, both for pricing of the console and in general innovation and the push of technology, with out competition things would stagnate and probably cost more since there aren't any options, always a pro and a con to everything. In any case I don't want nor for see a 1 console future happening any time soon.

No offense to all the people who hoped it was coming to Wii. But Activision never even hinted that COD:MW2 was going to come to Wii. To be honest the Wii version pretty much has to be built from the ground up do to the graphical differances and coding etc...etc... I don't know how much it costs but I'm betting close to a mill, using other existing source material from the origional (PS3/360).

I know for one I bought COD4 and WaW on my 360 the graphics and online gameplay is far superior. That being said I do want to see Activision giving the Wii more love. But honestly people are complaining that Activision didn't give Wii a port? Why not complain that Activision Blizzard isn't giving the Wii more exclusives?

To be honest I hope to support Activision as much as possible on the Wii, but I won't buy a port. With Activision preparing to bail on the PS3 I think we could see Activision Blizzard become one of the bigger Wii supporters or next gen Nintendo supporters!
