it also says 5 million DVD players where sold during this time frame..

It also says  DD is 196 million in sellthrough.....

Either way Blu-ray is alive and well and wont be going anywhere for a while. I see DD and Blu-ray AND DVD all making money and not dieing for a while. (DVD's will die when everyone gets a HDTV which in the link it says 38% on USA population already has one.. pretty fast huh? but thats still pretty far off) 



Great news and I do buy bluray movies. I am apart of helping the bluray sales go up lol.
