Did I say he's slow? I said 'Slower pace and less physicality in L2 should suit him well' - which is true.

Campbell has committed himself to staying at Notts' county for 5 years so when he will leave he will be 39. He is a fast player but I think that by playing him at league two they are hoping that the slower pace will mean his career can last longer.

Notts'county are going to destroy teams this season, they've already signed Sol Campbell, Kasper Schmiechel, Delroy Facey and Jamie Clapham, four players that are better than league two.

Furthermore, to top that off rumours are around that they could be asking Luis Figo to come out of retirement, they could be taking on Pavel Nedved too and they are going to offer a contract to Patrick Viera... I mean they may as well crown them champions of league two now and get it over with if they are true.

Who bought Notts? Where is that money coming from?

^ They were brought by some middle eastern multi-Billionaire oil tycoon who took pity on their fall from grace (Remember they were top flight for like 100 years, now they're league 2). They said money is not an issue in getting them to the premiership, so essentially they can pay any transfer fee and any wage... Expect to see Notts' county in the premier league in four seasons.

its not the fall from grace... its the fact that they are the oldest football club in the world.

Why did you spell my name wrong?

Yeah I read about the fact that they were the oldest club in the world, but I think they saw that and thought that a club with such stature and history deserves to be in a better position than they are now.

Yeah, I just heard about that, FIFA will look on this severely I think.

Nothing to do with fifa

Domestic comp... UEFA maybe... I'd just kick Millwall and West Ham out of the league, they deserve nothing more.

Millwall are a disgrace, I went there last year to watch Oldham... OMFG they are a set of idiots, even the club was unfriendly.

Haha, I know the FA would be the ones to sort it out. What I mean is that England is in FIFAs bad books already as well known hooligans, and so when it comes to international football England situations like this will just make it harder for us.

Not to mention Millwall supporters are bunch of right wing facists who make racist comments. I saw it first hand when I went to England, I was going to see a match with my cousin but my uncle stopped us going because of that.

And how the hell is Notts county attracting these players? Kasper had a promising career ahead of him being a Denmark u 21 and having a great keeper as a father but he goes to Notts lol. Anyways hopefully they can get to the PL soon, 2 many clubs with no history are buying themselves victories.

Wow, I can't believe I read the entire thread :p
