I know, but France and Italy lost many points whereas England gained a few points.

I guess it must have something to do with the last world cup, but England also was better 4 years ago, so how did they get points instead of losing them ?

And how did Egypt get more points than Ghana ??? They weren't even qualified this year and 4 years ago and you don't get many points for test matches....

Why was Portugal in front of Germany since like 2 years or more until now ? Germany was better in every tournament since 2006 and were even the winner of the wc 2010 qualifying group, when Portugalonly finished second after Denmark.

Yeah....France are ranked below Australia. Yet if the sides played France would likely win...Mexico went down 7 places? Are you kidding me? They beat France and only lossed against strong opposition in Argentina. What a joke!

Germany has really been the most consistent team over the past 3 world cups. 1 2nd place and 2 3rd place poitions in a row is nothing to scoff at. To think that they also won back-to-back women's WCs despite the US being the "Brazil" of that section, all I can say is wow. Bravo Deutschland!

We all know that Norway is a way better team than Mexico

I'll say it again. Friendly matches don't count as much as qualification or world cup matches. Also you gain more points, if you win against a better team.

I can remember when Germany as the host of the 2006 WC was qualified and won pretty much all their friendlies at the same time as other teams played in the WC qualification. Germany lost over 10 places because of that.

And seriously how many friendlies can a national team do in a month ?
