I very well know that draik was rooting for Holland, but this doesn't mean I can't agree with him for different reasons: I thought that the Dutch were very lucky that the referee didn't dare to send one of them off already in the first half. It's still bad refereeing.

I don't get why everyone is getting at the Dutch. They don't have the same talent as Spain in their midfield and with the exception of de Jong's kick they were no worse than the diving Spanish.

Webb made one or two poor decisions, but they had a tough night and overall did a decent job though that was not a red card, it was a dive and there was a foul in the build up to the goal.. But Spain just about deserved to win

They were constantly kicking Spanish players after the ball had gone. It wasn't diving which was the problem.

Exactly. Besides, how is no one commenting on the beutyfull second miss by Roben? That run was easily the best of the game.

Play their own game, that's what they should have done. Holland is good enough for that, has been for decades.

I guess they tried something different now since dominating the opponent never brought them the Cup before. So instead they played like Greek butchers.

Wow, this could have been a kickboxing final if they had taken the ball. I liked 3rd place match much more.

I wouldn't put Italy and France in the first tier. 

Ok....so The Dutch approached the game with aggresion. Could have being down to 9 men and the ref had a difficult job. I concede that the Spanish were superior however, the Dutch should have had a corner 28 seconds before the goal. Hence, it wouldn't have happened.

If buts maybes what if this what if that.....Spain deserved it.

Italy and France keeps producing new talent. And they always have the confidence to win.
