i know you get angrier the further spain go,lol

it does seem like favouritism sometimes, like the big teams in club football

did villa really punch him,i need to see a video again, but fifa are funny in their decisions

what about neuer(can't remember how to spell his name) the german keeper cheated he knew it was a goal but he carried on as if it wasn't,no one says anything about him

Here it is

Ok I get the sitiation now, but it really was nothing. It wasn't a punch, just a touch. But even if it was a punch, against the rules and red card worthy etc I dont care because it didnt affect the game one bit.

Anyway, what did Villa say in the interview?

You're trying to find justifications where there are none. Listen to the commentators, they're both spanish and even they said that Villa was lucky that the ref didn't saw the punch, otherwise he could have seriously compromised Spain with his childish attitude.

Heck, even Capdevilla went to Villa side and told him to get away from there.

In the interview he said it was an instinct reaction, he felt the GK stomping him and when he saw the defender nagging him, he just threw his hand to the defender's face. At this time the interviewer stops him and says that the attitude can be costly to him, to which Villa replies he'll try to keep things low profile to let it slide.

Even he acknowledge he did wrong. There's no justification for that.

Of course he did wrong. But players do wrong in a football game all the time. There are big wrongs and small wrongs, and there are wrongs that the ref detects and there are wrongs that the ref doesn't.

For me this was a small wrong that the ref didn't detect. It's negligible.

The way Germany plays this tournament is just awesome.

hardest group (The only group with 2 quartfinal participants)
England
Argentina
Spain
Netherlands

IF we manage to win the cup, nobody can ever say we did not deserve it.

not on paper... dont forget, PAPER IS WHAT COUNTS on the field, screw the performance if you're good on paper, you'll make it to at least quarter finals, just like France, England, Italy and Portugal...
