I've seen some very bad blunders in my time, but Green's one is probably one of the worst WC blunders I've seen in any WC. 

It's similar to a blunder made by my team, FCPorto, earlier this year as well

There has a lot of contoversy surrounding the ball used in this world cup also.

True, the Jabulani is extremely light and the no-stitches format means an almost perfect aerodynamic flow, which can create weird bends on the trajectory.

But in this case, the ball was low on the ground. It was just a case of bad judgment on Green's behalf. He saw that the ball was doing small bumps on the floor. He should have tried to grab it to his chest instead of grabbing it directly to his hands.

Green did everything right except move every part of his body 25cm to the right. 

I did notice especially on corners the ball was being kicked beyond the players in the box. Maybe this was why.

It's stupid to bring in a new ball so close to a tournament.

Yeah I agree, terrible error by a keeper who should'nt be making fumbles like that but, the ball apparently builds up alot a pace very easily

Yup, he was criticized a lot by Porto fans. That's one of the worst parts of the field to lose a ball. But even then, the shot wasn't that powerful, and it didn't even had a swerve to it. It was a straight shot, with a bad judgement call by the Keeper (who's very experienced, at 35 years, having played on both Portuguese, Spanish and English Leagues). 

These kind of blunders can happen to any keeper at any given time. They're just humans like us. Like I said, I just hope Green can pull through the gloom that may possibly surround him for the next days.

I agree, but FIFA does this every WC. I still remember when they launched the Fevernova in WC 2002. It also suffered from the same stigma of being too light and unpredictable.
