Looks like Man City have signed Kolo Toure from Arsenal, for £15m.

Arsenal must be laughing. They have got £40m in total from Man City for 2 fairly good but not brilliant players.

theyve only spent £10m so far, on an average player, lol, they need to sign more players in, they looked vunerable last season, only got 4th because Villa and Everton werent quite good enough to stop them, theyre gonna struggle to stay in the Top 4 if there not careful, look at the other teams like Everton, Tottenham and Man City, theyve signed to improve and could challenge for 4th, Arsenal need to spend some of that £40m imo, at the moment theyre looking weak imo.

@SciFiBoy

Well Arsenal will have Rosicky back and Arshavin for a whole season. I think 4th is pretty safe. If they sign Huntelaar, they could even challange for 2nd or 3rd.

Arshavin is good, but they need a striker, so yes, Huntelaar would be good for them, but they havent spent much cash so far, so who knows.

even with Arshavin, i think they would struggle for 4th without atleast a new striker.

Tottenham and signed big as have Man City. Everton are yet to make a big/good signing. Yes, they brought that reject from Man City back on loan but that wont be enough to brake into the top 4.

In the local papers people are getting pissed off with the lack of Villa signings. O'Neill doesn't even want to stump up the £5m Portsmouth want for Distin. We have a Billionaire owner who gives us plenty of cash,but apparently £5m is too much for O'Neill, even though Distin is worth it.

Distin is a solid defender, he could have rejoined Man City he would have been their sort of player. Seems strange, he might be a bit like Wenger has the cash but doesnt like to spend. The lack of new signings WILL catch up on the clubs though. You cant carry on loosing top players forever and not replacing them.

Young - Liverpool

25 Million

Thats my bet for the next transfer. And Xabi Alonso or Mascherano depending on who leaves will fund that transfer. Liverpool have been crying out for a genuine right winger for ages, Dirk Kuyt just doesnt cut it.

^ Well we've signed Downing who plays in 5the same position as Young and he is out until December, which leads me to think we're selling Young to the highest bidder in January. I reckon £30m+. But I bet we wont see that £30m+ put back into any players.

30million+ would have only being from Real Madrid or Man City. And i think Real Madrid just arn't intrested anymore, they have pretty much made all the big signings already. As for Man City they have Robino and Wright Phillips.

Ashley Young isn't worth close to £30m. Robben cost Real Madrid about £25, and Young isn't as good. I wouldn't want Chelsea to spend more than £22m on Young, if they wanted him.
