Goalkeeping wise Foster has had some great saves this season but this game saw him not keeping up to standards, not sure if we'll be seeing a future transfer in this department or not but I'm guessing we will.

100% agree that our defence hasn't been up to shape this season. Is it because of injuries? Probably, but injuries happen all the time and can't be used as an excuse in my opinion as you know the huge chances of a player getting injured, you get some sort of backup.
Hopefully though we'll see our defence grow over time, with us soon sorting out a full time RB(Don't really fancy O'Shea/Rafael as full timers, well possibly Rafael in the future but not yet).

Midfield, yes it's patchy - Not so much chemistry as of yet as it seems like there's a lot of switching being made by Fergie.

Striker front, we've not got as much options as say City but it's not having an infinitive amount of strike force that matters. I'm saying that we're good easily until next summer over with so many offensive midfielder's we have.

some fans are that dumb, not me, even when Owen was at Liverpool, I knew he was a quality player, sure, I hated it when he scored against United, but thats a given, I actually was talking on a United forum about us possibly signing him, before we did so

he may get injured, but at the moment, he looks fit enough, and 2 goals already, aint bad for a new player who is primarily backup for Rooney and Berbatov

I hope Zhirkov and Cole aren't fit, because otherwise there is no excuse for not at least having them on the bench

I can just be torn apart by width. Go back to the tried and tested 4-3-3, Essien, Ballack and Lampard as the midfield 3, Zhirkov, Cole and Drogba as the front 3, make the 4-4-2 plan B
