True, but STandard is the team that should have won against Liverpool last year (liverpool scored a late late winner in the second game of the qualifiers). And they're the team who beat Sevilla and Everton etc. in the europa cup.

They do have a talented squad, but Defour is their engine and without him they lose a lot of their potential. I expect them to finish second in their group, above olympiacos and AZ.

I'd like to think that Inter was waiting to counter-attack but I'm almost sure that Barca took the ball off  them. Inter wanted to play but just couldn't. This is the reason Balloteli and Santon were changed too late. There's still a big gap between both teams. Fortunately for Inter, with 5 new players it's not easy and still have time to improve.

Maybe this may interest a few people, I think fewer goals will be scored this season than in 2007/08. The inaugural season had the most goals scored albiet it had 22 teams as opposed to the current 20.
