Forums - Nintendo - 5 X360/PS3 games that can benefit from wiimote controls.

If the wii had the same graphic power as the X360/PS3 and any game could get ported over with ease, what are your top 5 games you think could play better with the wiimote.

1. RE5 (Pointer- turn, look, aim, sniping / motion- melee, reloading, grenade throwing, puzzles)

2. GTA4 (Pointer-turn, look, aim, draw on map / motion-fist fighting, reloading, grenade throwing, bowling, pool, twist wiimote to start car ignition)

3. Dead Space (Pointer-turn, look, aim, twist wii mote for precision cutting, menu / motion- punching & stomping)

4. MGS4 (Pointer-turn, look, aim / motion- CQC, reloading, grenade throwing)

5. Fight Night (motion+ - fist fighting)

I didn't use any FPS because we all know that can work great with pointer/motion controls.

I would like Halo wars with motion control

Agreed with all except GTA4 (a lot of functions you need buttons for) and MGS4 (just no, seriously)

(Former) Lead Moderator and (Eternal) VGC Detective

Perhaps if it was just the wii-mote for aiming, but I'd rather have buttons instead of numerous motion controls for these different tasks (unless it was something like a mini-game such as bowling or pool in GTAIV).

After playing Godfather, I just love punching and neck breaking with motion controls so me personality think this would be a good thing in GTA and MGS, but if you have the option to turn it off or play another system ver everyone could be happy.

Your first four can be summed up into "3rd person shooters would play better on Wii". Your last one I just don't agree with. The level of precise dodges, blocks and punches in Fight Night would not translate as well to the Wiimote in my opinion. On top of that, Fight Night takes place from a sideways view, not from the angle you would punch at the screen like Punch Out and Wii Sports Boxing are. I don't think it would translate as well for people to not get the same directional punches out of their onscreen character.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

I have to agree with Onyxmeth, Fight Night wouldn't work as well in it's current form..

The others I completely agree with. The Godfather clearly showed that Wii has a superior control scheme for GTA style sandbox titles and RE4: Wii Edition again clearly shows Wii's superiority when it comes to third person shooters.

Couldn't you shake your Sixaxis to reload in GTAIV?

lol good one. Actually useing the Sixaxis, thats crazy.

I want Dead Space. It would be incredible if it played like RE4 (only with a dead zone).

MGS would also work great.

FIght Night...yeah not so much. The motions in Wii BOxing were TERRIBLE, and even if the Wiimote could detect with suffient accuracy, the Nunchuk never could.
