Forums - Sony - Retailers: ( Not Expect M.A.G. ) Until Early 2010

We're going to have a self fulfilling prophecy here...

Games are delayed because they are worried about MW2 sales... but since all of MW2's competitors are gone it's going to have much better sales, and these sales will be used to prove they were right to delay the game.

If GT5 gets release this year, this seems almost logical, going against MW2 no matter your '256 player can do ra-ra-ra' gimmick is suicidal. If they don't have GT5 however, the number are beginning to become pretty thin. No White Knight, No GT5, No GoW3 and No Heavy Rain... so many anticipated game have slip to next year....

The line up is too strong for the ps3 despite this..

The new Ratchet and clank is scheduled for this year, and Uncharted 2. Add to that the mountains of PSN exclusives, and AAA multiplatform ip, gamers arent made of money. Its a smart idea, specifically if they release a slimline model at a much cheaper price.

It's a full year for sure, but at the beginning of this year, the list off PS3 exclusive was much larger and more varied. I've still yet to see a single JRPG launch this year outside of Japan except for the that shit-stain X-edge, and I'm skeptical about NFS:S as far as quality racer is concern. I won't complain though, there's a LOT of game in my must buy list, much more so than last year.

its Call of Duty RUUUUUUUUUUN!!

I blame Activision XD

Looks like later this year it's:

Demon's Souls
GT5 [Hopefully]
.... why is that all I can think...

Either bring out in October or delay it until May, no point in bringing it out in Jan/February because it's too soon after Christmas and you just lost Xmas sales, March there's God of War III, so May/June works best.
