@Monsta- Oh you are EVIL, if that were to happen i would'nt be to pissed though because MS will fix it for free and i can just play my PSP and PS3 in the mean time, still i would be pissed but meh...
lol just saying it actually happened to me.
Short Story - I went to Radio Shack and they were selling Soul Calibur IV a week before the release date (It was street dated and they weren't supposed to sell it yet) I put that sucker into my XBox and voila! RROD. I didn't have a RROD yet and it was a launch console to! Since then I got a new XBox (sold the refurb and bought a Elite for $80ish more) and my Wife has a Jasper Arcade, so chances are both of ours won't RROD and I would use hers or my other systems in the mean time.
Good times.
It's just that simple.
Ouch... well i got the (supposed) better 360, Falcon or whatever the latest model is, and the Volts are the same As PS3's for that model now so......... There shoulnd't be any isssues right?... >_>
Jasper (the latest model) as of uh... what was it, Feb/March? Is the most reliable, however as of last year the Falcon is pretty much Microsoft's peak as far as failure rate goes. I'd gather the failure rate is 10-15% after Falcon was released, much better then say pretty much every XBox launch console will die sooner or later. Jaspers uses less and produces less heat but seems to be just as prone as the falcon was *shrugs* Granted I would always get the latest revision if possible.
Next year there will be another board revision - whatever saves MS money.
It's just that simple.

A throuogh job that make take 3-4 months is usually fine, but 2 months for a smaller publisher (not the big 3 and SE) doesn't seem like enough.
