lol just saying it actually happened to me.
Short Story - I went to Radio Shack and they were selling Soul Calibur IV a week before the release date (It was street dated and they weren't supposed to sell it yet) I put that sucker into my XBox and voila! RROD. I didn't have a RROD yet and it was a launch console to! Since then I got a new XBox (sold the refurb and bought a Elite for $80ish more) and my Wife has a Jasper Arcade, so chances are both of ours won't RROD and I would use hers or my other systems in the mean time.
Good times.
It's just that simple.
