Forums - Nintendo - Conduit Ending (***SPOILERS***)

Hey all, I just finished playing through the single player Conduit game.  I don't get it when it's getting knocked.  I thought the story was fine and worked.  The dialogue was fine.  The controls were AWESOME.  And the whole game was just completely satisfying to me.  I actually started over from the beginning tonight to try to find every single disc and wall writing.  I enjoyed this as much as I have games like GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Turok, etc.

Why I'm writing this new thread is because I want to see what others who finished this had to think on the ending.  What did you understand about the ending of the game?  What did you understand about the dialogue that occurred over the ending credits?  And what do you forsee for the sequel if there is one.  Can't wait to see what other people think about this.  Thanks VGC peeps.

Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.

Around the Network

I thought the story was fine. It wasn't mind blowing, but it's about on par with any other story I've seen in most any video game.

What kills me is the people who keep complaining that there is "poor storytelling". I didn't see any poor storytelling in the game, and as somebody who's job is storytelling, I'm rather confused at the whole argument, which in every review I've seen failed to back up anything that would show poor storytelling.

Like you, I had a lot of fun with this game. I've been trying to re-play it on the higher difficulties, and it's brutal.
