This reminds me of the arguing that was going on about VC not possible on the Wii.
Sega just proved wrong all the people that believed VC couldn't be made on Wii.
Interesting.
Unfortunately for them I won't buy this game for PSP. I have too many JRPG to play, including those I'm planning to buy on my systems of choice, already.

Since when was VC on the PSP?

I'm afraid I missed the joke here.

Me too. I don't get it either.

There was a joke in there? o_O

Umm...he said this shoots down the "VC is not possible on Wii" talk or whatever, and you replied since when was VC on PSP. That makes no sense at all.

He was implying that since they put VC on the PSP, you could the same for Wii. So I said since when was VC on PSP? Since that was what he said would be possible on Wii(i'm talking about the game, not the series). Unless I mis-understood what he said. :P

Prediction:

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

First Versus gameplay this year.

I believe the argument is that VC as it is now is not possible on Wii, and unless you think the PSP sequel is going to look exactly like the original (highly unlikely) that statement still stands.

The original statement being replied to was simply that VC "could be made" on the Wii, which would seem to indicate that he is talking about the series rather than the original game. Or, rather, that the experience could be reproduced, not tha it would be exactly the same.

Well who in the hell said that VC as a concept couldn't be made on Wii?  And why is evidence against such an idiotic argument worth commenting on?

Who am I to say? But that's obviously what he was saying, which makes the "since when was VC on PSP" response rather out-of-place.

You guys over-complicate things. >.>

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I get it now. Skittles response makes sense if he thought he was talking about the first game.

Although, I still wouldn't be surprised if Sony is buying out the series. I mean, they're producing the soundtracks, the anime, etc. Everything but the actual games it seems.

So judging from the comments, this is a case of love it or hate it. While it's pretty kick ass that Sega is making a sequel and i am happy for the psp owners.

But i'm on the hate it fence. I game with big screen TV's and HD games for a reason, i don't like handhelds. To me personally, Sega just slapped there PS3 fanbase in the face today. "get out there and support our game" "Sales up 300%" "Thanks to the fans supporting us" Thanks for creating and then alienating your fanbase Sega.

But awe well, enjoy the series guys, I love it and i'm sure you will all continue too as well.

Sega of America said those things. Sega Japan is making the games.
