Have you looked VC's sales on PS3 in Japan. The PSP sequel shouldn't have a problem topping 300K units. Especially since the anime has probably increased the IPs popularity further.

It saddens me little that this will go to PSP instead of PS3 because I really love HD cartoon graphics in original VC and with PSP they have to compromise with graphics... Still of course I will buy this first day because VC is one of the best games this gen.

I'll be pissed if it's DL only. Well, I'm still hoping for a PS3 version. Maybe VC3, or even a port to PS3, with enhanced graphics and some additions to the story.

BTW, looks this is going to be a system seller, at least in the VGC Community.

- Not many screens are shown but Canvas, the rendering engine used to created the watercolor look of the first game, is still being used and the developers from the PS3 version is working on the game.
- In the interview, Sega want to show that they are serious about the game with the number 2 attached to the title and apparently there will be more for PSP from the series in future.

No way it will be DL-only.
