Im getting the PSP Go. Cant wait for it. I might wait a month or too to see if the price drops but even if it dosent ill just go ahead and buy it.

The main reason i'm getting it is because its a all in one, 16gig flash memory, Gran Turismo PSP and I wont need any game cases to carry around all my games.

So who's getting it?

Me. Day one.

I don't even have a regular PSP and I would probably want to get one of those instead of a PSP Go since it'd be cheaper and I'd really want to get it hacked and use it as a portable emulator.

Very tempted, but with the titles coming soon, I think my PS3 gaming will take over my time and budget for the foreseeable future.

Smaller Screen... No UMD... Less Charge... Fugly messed up Button Set... No new 2nd analog stick to match NORMAL PS controls... No Chain Case Add-On...

No Deal...

In Conclusion... ... ... No...

If by "fugly messed up" you mean "Better quality and more comfortable" than you are correct.

Why would you want a second analog stick? We're still on the PSP here, not the PSP2, so every game would be released with the PSP controls in mind anyway.

It hasn't even released yet, how do you know there won't be one for release?

I know you don't like it, but there is no reason to blow it out of proportion...

I won't be, since I already own a PSP. What exactly is the incentive for buying a PSP-Go over a PSP, considering it costs more, and has only DD, while the PSP has DD AND UMD? Is it because the sliding screen is that awesome?

@Kantor : well, it's lighter, more portable, sexier and it has 16 Gb memory... It's true it would be a much better deal if you didn't already have a PSP...

Sony said they would do something for PSP owners (allowing DD of their UMD games ?? We don't know yet).

You could buy a lighter, something portable, a blowup doll and a 16GB flash card with your PSP, and it would still be cheaper than the PSP Go.

Unless they bundle some games or show some feature that people actually care about, I doubt this PSP GO will be very successful. Unless the price was a typo and it's meant to be $150.

The sexiness and portability is a huge factor. I think that's what sells the product, I may be wrong but I think it will sell well to rich adults who like tech and games.

If you did what you said, you still couldn't put your PSP in your pocket, and it would still be less beautiful than a PSP Go.

Only my opinion.

What!? "Fugly messed up button set"? Looks like an improvement to me. Plus And of course its not going to have two analog sticks. Its still a PSP-1

I'll pass since I already own a PSP 2000. If that one breaks i'll ofcourse replace it with the GO.
