Wasn't one part of the camera already priced at 50 dollars? I think it was one of the lens.

Yep, they did this with the Xbox original and lost around $4 billion. The Xbox was just Microsoft getting their foot in the door.

No it hasn't. They have yet to make up the losses from 360, not to speak the billions that Xbox lost.

While it may be "superior" technically because of the skeletal recognition, I still think you need some buttons on a hand held device like nintendo and sony's approach to motion control. Otherwise, it's just a more sophisticated eyetoy.

I think $129 is a reasonable price. $99 would be a dream price.

I doesn't matter how much they sell it for.
If it takes 200$ to make, and MS sells it for 50$, and they plan to sell >10 million, then they're going to be in trouble.



Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
