Forums - Nintendo - Why do people say Grand Slam Tennis is so hard?

Finally got this game and I was really worried about getting my ass handed to me based on lots of people saying how hard it is.  I won my first game in exhibition, but lost the first match.  However, I won my second match.  I'm using the nunchuck and doing my own running and everything.  I think a lot of people aren't following the game's instructions on proper ways to swing.  I think a lot of people are also forgetting about feet placement and forgetting to return your racket to a neutral position after each swing.  Anyway, so far I love this game!  Can't wait to start my career.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

because they suck at life, lol jk

actually because they dont know how to use the wii mote, for example im a master at mario tennis, the problem with other people is that they dont have the patience to get used to or learn the controller method of the game(COUGH LAIR)

Just by using a nunchuk (effectively), you're avoiding one of the biggest issues people are having with the game. If you play with autorun, the computer can be a little stupid and/or slow to respond. This problem can be resolved by picking a player with really good run speed, but if you don't do that or use a nunchuk, you're going to get burned.

We discovered that the people who have problems with the game are usually from the UK which received quite a big bunch of faulty Wii Motion Pluses at launch.

Are you being serious?
