The motherboard is definitely compatible with most of the stuff you mentioned:

CPU Type: Phenom II X4 / X3 / Athlon II X4 / X3 / X2 / Phenom FX / Phenom / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core / Athlon X2 Dual-Core / Athlon 64 / Sempron

Memory Standard DDR2 1066/800/667/533

Expansion Slots PCI Express x16 1

Note that since you're using PCI Expression 1.0 x16, you should be ok w/ this graphic card but may not be viable for future ones which work faster with PCIe 2.0

The PSU is somewhat small, usually I would prefer 650+

The DVD burner is a IDE interface, those have mostly gone away in favor of SATA. Not sure if your MB supports that.

Why are you using a micro ATX MB for a normal size tower?

The PSU 575W is fine enuff for this comp, but not if he's going to switch to say a ATI 5870X2 within a couple of years. But for that 650W mite be too weak as well.

Go for the PSU 575W, it's dirt cheap.

Oh thanks for the help! lol I was just trying to go cheap on the MB..can you recommend a different MB instead? So you're sure a Radeon 4870 would work with this PSU and MB? Thanks again...Oh and I'll try to get a bigger PSU..

Oh and @slimebeast

Yea lol this psu was real cheap so I guess I could get it...so you're saying 575w is enough to power everything?

Personally, I'd be a little unsure about using cheap power supply if it didn't have very good review scores. I know it has an overal rating of 4/5, but I usually like to be a little cautious and this one only has 50% of the reviews being 5/5.

:O Yea thats true...uhhh can you show me a good PSU thats cheap lol but is reliable?

I didn't see any brands that I know of for under $50.

This one is more expensive, but it's also 700watts and it currently has a $20 rebate which puts it at around the same price as other good choices that are only around 550-600 watts.

That one looks good I'll check it out..thanks :)

Ok, that PSU is a pile of crap sorry. Take my word for it, it doesn't pump out enough voltage on the 12V rails.

Tease.

What the above said. The PSU is definitely not the item where you'd want to go cheap...Personally, whenever I build PCs, there are 2 pieces I never go cheap, the PSU and the Mobo...
