That is a good idea for when defending a game you like. "Well, it did better than Madworld.".

Oh.  I think that he left.

It is doing better than Madworld.

But MadWorld had a chainsaw in it!

Did MadWorld bomb? I mean, IGN (you know those reviewers who hate the Wii) gave it a 9!

I think the game's release dates kind of contributes to why the game only sold 90k. If it was released in NA and Others in the same week, it would have sold 130k first week. You also have to remember the lack of support this game got from Nintendo. I mean, it seems like at one point Nintendo wants to gain a hardcore fanbase for the Wii, so people won't see the statement "Wii is a toy" as a fact. However, once again, they refuse to promote and support a new franchise, especially a FPS. Nintendo has really changed since their N64 days. Today, they concentrate on trying to promote franchises like Zelda and Mario that already made a mark on the gaming industry instead of trying to help new franchises make a name for themselves.

I already explained earlier in this thread that Madworld would've only sold 37 copies if it didn't have a chainsaw.

Jesus still loves The Conduit even if it was a flop.

I assume Jesus plays shooters of a higher caliber. He's the son of god and deserves a shooter that doesn't play like a last gen game.

So was the chainsaw a multiplier, or just additional sales?

Hmmm, Hitler was pretty disappointed with it.

It would have sold 37 million if they had the right ammount of colours in the game, Wiifit and Wii sports have the magic ammount of colours in them and it shows in sales.

SMG was missing 2 colours and yellow was used once too much thats why it didnt sell more.

It´s a thin line but once you get it right it´s worth it.

Obviously additional sales.  Everyone loves a chainsaw.

If it weren't for the chainsaw, the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" would have been a forgotten slasher flick.  Throw in a chainsaw and it reaches iconic status.

When a game is to doomed for failure like Madworld is though, even a chainsaw can't save it.

This makes just as much sense as anything that I came up with.
