Surely there should be a incentive built in such as say 10% extra for having gotten 100%.

I mean some of them achievements can be so tough.

So basically you want a platinum trophy. I'm surprised this is an issue for people, I haven't gotten 100% on any game yet and some of them I play every day.

Well I know when you get all achievements in SFIV you get a "Ruler of them all" or something along those lines achievement worth 0 points. I say 1000/1000 is good enough for me.

Like the Platinum trophy for when you've finished all other trophies. I get what you're saying. If you get 100% its nice to get a little sumthn sumthn. Otherwise the climax just fades away and you feel empty and alone.

No just recognition of your acheivements.

I got 100% in COD 2 and CSI and got nothing extra for it.

Not aying I have sour grapes about it  btw just  looking at another angle on it.

Get 1000 gs on a game and get 100 free ms points.
