perhaps you have herd of a genre called science fiction? It's quite popular and believe it or not, is a series of stories grouped together in a genre because of their similarities. It boggles the mind I know.

Well.. duh.. Starship Troopers was written in 1959... it influenced a lot of Science Fiction.. especially the Military Sciene Fiction: Aliens, Warhammer 40.000, Command and Conquer, Halo .. a lot of things in SciFi can be traced back to the book... and shame on you guys for thinking it's a movie..

I disagree, OP. Nowhere in Halo do I recall any music that even sounded remotely like "Starship Trooper" by English progressive-rock band Yes.

Starship troopers was a famous novel from the 60's that in the year 1997 became a Sci-fi movie, everything you see in this trailer from the wepons and armor to story of aliens vs. humans very much resemble halo. If you've seen the whole movie like I have, it reminds you of Halo and the similarities between them.

So my question to you guys is do you think Halo copied Starship troopers?

I nominate you for a BAN!  Starship Trooper wasn't published in the 60's btw...at least get your facts straight, when trying to troll.
