They´re both coming out this year AFAIK, and they´re both action/hack n´slash games.

Dante´s Inferno is from the Dead Space team and it´s their take on God of War.

Bayonetta is from Platinus Games (Okami, Madworld, Godhand) and is directed by Kamiya, the guy who worked on the original Devil May Cry.

Anyway, which one is looking more promising in your opinion?

This is pretty tough for me. I think I'll end up choosing Dante's Inferno, but I can't due to lack of information.

Both look amazing, Bayanota seems like an anime styled action game, Dante's inferno looks like a crazy Hell game.

I haven't watched any videos on Dante's Inferno yet so I'll go with Bayonetta.

Id go with Dante. But im not a fan of DMC gameplay. I think Dante with its Dead Space dev. team will have a nice atmosphear and good story.

There's no contest - Dante's Inferno by far!

First of all with Hell as the setting, not much can beat that. And so far they seem to have succeeded with making the environments and creatures quite disgusting and combined with an amazing overall art style it creates a disturbing atmosphere which is just... lovely.

Except team behind Dante has shown to be a bunch of hacks who take other games/movies best ideas and sell it as their own. This time they are copying God of War...and there is nothign worng with GoW... but Devil May Cry gameplay has always been a notch above God of War and Baynetta looks like it will take it to the next level.

God of war has jaw dropping presentation...but so far Dantes Inferno looks quite average visually.
