I just realized looking at Metacritic and Gamerankings Street Fighter IV is still the highest rated retail game.

Metacritic gives it a 94 on PS3 and 93 on 360.

On Gamerankings it has a 93.27% on PS3 and 93.20% on 360.

What game do you think will have a chance at topping it? Looking ahead we still have many blockbuster titles left that I can see that have a chance even though it may be very slight.

PS3 -Uncharted 2, Bioshock 2 (multi), Modern Warfare 2 (multi)

Wii -Mario Galaxy 2 (this year?) New Super Mario Brothers Wii

360 - Forza 3, Bioshock 2 (multi), Tekken 6 (multi), MW2 (multi)

DS - Scribblenauts

PSP - GT Portable, Soul Calibur, Tekken 6 (multi)

I believe Mario Galaxy has the highest chance looking at past rankings if It's out this year. Bioshock 2 is kind of in the air as I have mixed feelings. Forza 3 and GT Portable are looking amazing but I'm not sure about 93% or higher amazing. Soul Calibur looked amazing at E3 but is a gamble and I don't think It's PSP brother will fare as well. Uncharted 2 has the best chance for the PS3. I think Modern Warfare 2 will do well but will score in the high 80's when all is said and done.

Scribblenauts is godly, but will the press agree?

Looking back at SF4...what part of that 93 score was nostalgia?

"Ooo...Chun li...awesome!"

I'd consider Balzblue more original and well rounded fighter even if its score is only 90...

But if sheer scores we are talking abouit, MW2 will spank it. That has more hype than anything...

Street Fighter 4 made my favorite character (Chun Li) damn near useless! I hope somebody takes it down a notch. I enjoyed it, but game of the year? No way!
