Forums - Sales - with the new 360 bundles, will we see them added sales wise ala wii sports?

So i'm curious as to if ioi plans to add the sales of forza and marvel ultimate alliance that happens through the bundles to the current sales of the games already out. To me it would be fair, but also kind of nice if we could see the sales outside of the bundled ones too.

Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.

Similar to the way he is tracking the 80gb PS3-Motorstorm sales, he may be able to track these new bundle sales. Cross your fingers!

I don't see why not, but you never know.

I doubt he would have them differently, though.

It will probably be the same as Motorstorm, where they are All counted.

They will not be counted i bet, he never counted the 360 games before that have been packed, Forza2 is already packed with the system and no update on that. GRAW was packed with the system for over 5 months and never counted.

Ya know ... I think GT is right.

Why?

Cause these SKUs aren't ONLY available with the games, whereas the 80gb can ONLY be bought with Motorstorm.

Ah well ...

Whether sold separately or bundled, a game sale is a game sale.

And as such should be counted.

Those who gripe about Wii Sports never seem to complain about bundled games from other consoles being counted.

Give it up. A game is a game and if it's sold it's sold.

The only reason NPD doesn't include Wii Sports is because you can check the tally on Wii hardware to see what the software is for that game. Unlike Japan, Wii Sports comes with every Wii purchase.

If they bundle Motorstorm, Resistance: Fall of Man all of a sudden to the PS3 then each one of those games should be counted on VGChartz. In the future if a Halo 3 bundle is put together as a common purchase then the Halo 3's should be counted as well. You can put your own asterisk on whether it's a pack-in or not but all sales should be counted.

OK. Glad I got that off my chest now. That topic has been annoying me.

I doubt that's the reason because it doesn't explain why they don't tally the 360 pack-in games either and those aren't as simple as just looking at 360 hardware totals.

What about the Bundles with Kameo und PGR3 ?

Many of them sold about the last few Monthes.

Oh that's how they do business? That's wack.

Well that's just another reason why I like VGChartz better. I'll be glad for the day when VGChartz becomes the go-to place for videogame sales tracking.

Track it all, man. Asterisk sales if you have to but track it all.
