Am I the only one that has a problem that he is walking on air during the beginning of the video? Shouldn't he have fallen down? Guess it must just be the multiplayer, though...right? Please Halo fans tell me I am right.

He's never walking on air. He always had at least 1 leg on the platform. That's just how movement always works in FPS games. It's not like Zelda where you will fall down and grab the edge.

So that's not a third person option he's using then...it's just the position of an external camera used only for screen grabs?

WTF, insane kill. All luck, but insane anyway.

Anyone see the ricochet sniper head shot vids?

Yep.  All of that is just post game recording.  He can choose the position of the camera.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

It's a really cool feature of Halo 3.  You can watch recordings of your matches and be a free floating camera and move anywhere in the match recording.

The game has only been out for a few days, and we already have videos this awesome? Can't wait to see what it'll be like in a few months or years.

Pretty much all the videos we've had so far of awesome kills in Halo 1 and 2 were results of people filming random games and something cool happening. Now every single game can potentially be recorded... *drool*

And when you are watching a recorded match, you can record film clips or take screenshots.  The following screenshot is of my brother and I when we entered jumpers on opposite sides of the Narrows, and we shot each other with rockets right as we collided in midair.
