Forums - Gaming - So if the PS3 dies...

If it dies, it already has a pretty good library. I'll get my money's worth just like when the Dreamcast died right after I bought one.

I would buy it if it died lol. I would probably make a little dance on it as well. Also buying good games for a cheap price. But seriously, the dance part would be the most important reason.

"If he dies.........HE DIES"

Since it won't happen anyway, the question doesn't need to be answered. However, in honor of all things douche, I will say that since I own a 360 and Wii, I will be no less saddened by Sony's loss.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I've been absent for a while from the boards, took a little "break" since almost every thread was the same (guess which subject/theme they had...).
There have been several periods of "Wii is doomed", "360 is doomed" and now we're into the second "PS3 is doomed".
What is it? Is it that we "veterans" can't seem to learn from the past or is it new users still failing at grasping what many understood a good while back?

why are the PS3 doomed threads back?

Because they're afraid of "Agent," Uncharted 2, Mod Nation Racers, and Grand Turismo 5 to join Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, and [Insert exclusive here].

I'll go PC gaming.

WellI'm glad I went 360, nuff said

but hopefully it it dies, its in a couple years where the console can sell for $200 flat. Then all the gr8 games will get discounted.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

Because they cannot afford a price cut today or maybe tomorrow does not equate to death just a slowing down of sales. Lets wait and see what the rest of the year brings Sony to my knowledge no fat lady has sung yet.

I am not a PS3 owner but I would imagine if the console died you would get it fixed especially if a launch console. I would hope if they cannot repair the console you will get a BC one back as that would be a bit naughty.

I am one of the unlucky few with a launch 360 fitted with its typhoon jet fighter exhaust. In my case I would hope to god they supplied me a new one.

Will a fat man be a better subsistute?

I cant speak italian but I'm guess his saying ""Let it go sony, your pissing money into the wind"" at one point.
