Forums - Nintendo - My thought abou Nunchuck Plus

I think they should release a new nun chuck with integrated gyro metre like the wii motion plus. I also think they should try and put another Infra-red output on the nun chuck. Think of the possibilities.

Battery makers everywhere salivate at the thought.

I like your idea that it would also have an IR.

Wired to wiimote could remain, but give better sensitivity and IR could really add new functionality.

This would be great from Punchout or Fight Night. Even good for FPS/TPS melee attacks.

I don't see the need for nunchuck+, I don't think it would happen. If a developer wanted to use two controls with motion plus they could just have the player use a Wiimote in each hand.

I'm not sure this is very likely, unless it accompanies a new console or at least a hardware revision. If Nintendo does redo the nunchuk, they might as well redo the wiimote while they're at it, too.

They can't do this, anyway--unless you see an expansion port on the Nunchuk somewhere.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

So it possibility is like 30-40/100 for N+ isn't it?

I think about this because my Nunchuck will broke soon within a year(1 already broke, actually)

so i'll guess that next year, Nintendo will release build-in Wii remote with Motion Plus and new Nunchuck.(Because it is seperately from Wii remote, so upgrade is possible imo.)

But it just a guess, not much chance to be true. :3

Outside of an outside company making a Wireless Nunchuk attachment I don't see it either. It's not a bad idea, but it adds a level of annoyance to managing the wireless setup.

Also your idea is interesting. The way I see it's use is that it turns blond girls into black haired girls :P

I'm not sure if Wii need the improved input resolution in both componenents. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. guess we will see though.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

The other problem i see with this is that another attachment further jacks up the cost and the complexity of designing the controls. If you have four controllers and want to play four player Warioware 2 with WM+/NC+ support you are looking at shelling out a ridiculous amount of money all up. 4 wii-motes, 4 nunchucks, 4 WM+ 4 NC+, i don't even want to do the maths.

As a developer you would potentially need to support regular Wii controls, WM+ controls and WM+/NC+ controls. Sounds like too much hard work for most to even bother.
