I think this site's habit of changing numbers is good because it improves the accuracy of the numbers, what disturbs me is that I don't see any notice of these adjustments....

Hey numbers changed, they just posted Euro numbers.... wierd why did Wii loose 1 Mil?

I've read many times people complaining.... when are you gonna at least put a news info for major adjustments (10k-100k is minimal, 1Mil is large...)???

The other thing that disturbs me are unfinished weeks... yesterday I look at the numbers, there was only jap numbers for 28th, today, only euro numbers for the 4th... so I click on weekly overall numbers and I get bumped to the 20th of june... This means the release of numbers for the week of the 28th will go unseen by most... Is it so important to post the next week's numbers so early when we didn't finish the previous one?

I guess this is marketing strategy, but I don't like the one you use.

Give them a break. They are trying their best to get accurate estimates out as fast as they can. Having to send out notices everytime they adjust sales numbers would just be a waste of time on their end.

Just look around. There is always a thread about any adjustments.

People would still open threads why the numbers are adjusted. Especially the casual forummember.
