Is this a bad idea to take away possible sales for the desktop suite? Or is it a good idea because the will be able to tie in MS's other cloud services and Bing? Maybe implemented in Silverlight so adoption of that will increase?


I doubt it...I'm sure this is limited in someways, and most corporate clients aren't going to expose their data to cloud jsut yet, but M$ is getting a foot in the door...a BIG foot.

Time will tell...but as I said, this is jsut to get the Office Brand in this clud thingy, since major users of the suite aren't going to move.
