That's the problem. I would love the game with better quality to win, but these video game awards always want to play it safe and thus will never give the award to a console exclusive, especially when it's an exclusive that a console relies on so heavily, like KZ2.

I don't think KZ2 has any chance quality-wise either. Even Halo 3: ODST will probably get better reviews.

Modern Warfare got 94% on Gamerankings, and most people think MW2 looks even better, so it will get at least 92% I think.

While KZ2 got only 90% on Gamerankings.

Well... as long as Bioshock 2 doesn't win.

Ahh... I forgot about Bioshock 2! The sequel to a 95% game must surely be a contender for best shooter in 2009.

1.) I highly doubt, with certain games coming out this year *Cough Cough Uncharted 2 Cough Cough* that Modern Warfare 2 will even have a chance of winning GoTY (Especially if Naughty Dog delivers on what they have been promising, which everyone knows they will.)

2.) I am just curious, does MAG no longer at all have any standing in the shooter category? I still have very high expectations for that game, especially with Zipper being behind it. I guess time will tell.
