I would like to add Insomnia as an honorable mention.

One Hour Photo also.

Just caught insomnia recently, liked it a lot. Although it would be unfair of me not to mention I'm a Nolan fanboy.

I absolutely adore Insomnia.

Robin Williams' best film, imho.

We'll miss you George.

It's too hard to narrow it down to just a top 5.

But I'm pretty certain that Lord of the Rings, Contact and Braveheart would be in my all time top 5.

Also, I think it's hard to rank movies from very different genres. Like historical epic versus crime drama for example - it's hard to decide if Braveheart is better than Scarface because it's so apples vs oranges.

Wow.  Contact was an absolutely brilliant film & hardly anyone ever brings it up.  Much respect for that.

1. North by Northwest
2. Citizen Kane
3. Double Indemnity
4. Brazil
5. Singing in the Rain

1. Babel
2. Memoirs of a Geisha
