What's up with people saying that sony has a lot of variety in franchises and there for have no mascot?

I can name a lot of games here from Nintendo that have sold better and got better reviews... It's not because you have a lot of variety in franchises that you can't have a mascot. I'd say either Kratos or Sackboy.

Ps: I'm not saying Sony doesn't have variety in their franchises, they do, but that doesn't mean they can't have a mascot like Nintendo. They'll never have a mario that's for sure, but that's IMPOSSIBLE.

P.S.S: Don't say Nintendo doesn't have variety in their franchises, because I'll just tell you to play super smash bros. brawl then.

Maybe because they can't really put anyone over the other because they've been so definitive of their brand.

They never really focused on pushing one specific franchise so there is none... but I guess in Sales GT is the closest thing.
