If the goals are anything like the Japanese version (and they probably are!) you’ll need to dish out 10 billion damage for one trophy and exchange ten counter attacks for another.

After you install this patch your previous save data will be unusable. That means the 300+ hours spent reincarnating Raspberyl into Prinny will go down the drain. If you want to use your old save data do not install this patch. Personally, I value the characters I leveled up more than Prinny trophies so I’m passing on the patch.

Most people wont pass on the patch, Some people see this as a perfect oppotunity to restart the game to RE-ENJOY it. Surley your not saying its a chour to replay a game you enjoy?

Trophies are an added bonus.

Hmmm. Bought this last summer and still haven't unwrapped it. So good news.

Needs confirmation about save data being unusable. Japanese patch was usable, just needed a new save (which you could make at any time after installing the patch).

Also now the talk is about locked saves, to the ps3 (although it would make more sense if they were locked to the PSN name..)

I think a lot. Glad I imported that last fall instead of waiting for the EU one (SE also replaced the JP track with a French one >_>)

If this patch is just the English version of already-released Disgaea 3 Trophy Patch, then I am pretty sure your save data will still work. All the trophies have nothing to do with the main story, so you don't need to start over to earn all of them.

Frankly no idea whether I will bother, I already have over 200 hours in this game, trophies seemed fun and challenging but I'm more likely to just try to get the stuff done just for having done it and not start an entirely new game for the sake of them.

Right I still haven't gotten this yet now would propably be a good chance, maybe I'll wait until EU trophy patch (if it comes of course...) :)
