On topic. Uncharted is great, but GoW is huge. I predict 4-5 mln LTD, if the ps3 continues with this trend in sales. If the pS3 somehow explode in sales this holiday, then 6-7 mln LTD. For anyone doubting, keep in mind that this is going too be a reference title, just like MArio for WII and Halo for X360. Till the end of PS3 live it's going to sell a constant amount of units, I predict 10-20% of the weekly Hw numbers( e.g. : 100k pS3 sold - 14k GoW3), just like Halo does, and SMG does.

So you truly believe that GOW3 is going to have an attach rate in the Americas of ~60% and in Others of ~25%.  Just so you know GOW 2 sold 2.5 in NA and 0.71 in Others, and you expect a doubling of sales for a game that seems too gory for most of the potential audience.  I like to have crazy ideas in my head too, but I generally don't voice them on the internet.

I said that if the sales exploded it would get a to 6-7mln. Otherwise I expect it to reach 4-5 mln in the last 3-4 years before the next gen PS. And the final atach rate should be something like 10-20% as I said . After years selling, the total atach rate should converge to the weekly atach rate, more or less.

And the PS3 still have 6mln units to sell till the end of the year, at least, and 1-2mln till March, when it's schedule. This is, if nothing changes in the horizon and the PS3 sells 9mln this years, like it's trailling. Some news for you, neither the PS3 nor Gow will stop selling so early. My predictions for PS3 are something like 60 mln LTD, so 4-5 mln for the coolest game on the PS3 sounds nice, if not to conservative.

The 6-7 mln scenario is only if the trend in PS3 changes before the game releases. Then I predict 70 mln LTD PS3.

ANyway, there's t still too much ground to cover, anything can happen, but given the strength of the Franchise, this is my expectations.

BTW,  1,5 mln first week for GoW and 500k for Uncharted.

No, GOW sold 2.47 total, 1.76 in NA + 0.67 others, 0.4 japan

I expect GoW to have sales atleast 10% higher than U2... Also an opening week that's atleast 5% higher. Doubt the difference will be anything huge.

According to vgchartz (which may be wrong), GOW 1 sold 3.21 and GOW 2 sold 2.47.
