On topic. Uncharted is great, but GoW is huge. I predict 4-5 mln LTD, if the ps3 continues with this trend in sales. If the pS3 somehow explode in sales this holiday, then 6-7 mln LTD. For anyone doubting, keep in mind that this is going too be a reference title, just like MArio for WII and Halo for X360. Till the end of PS3 live it's going to sell a constant amount of units, I predict 10-20% of the weekly Hw numbers( e.g. : 100k pS3 sold - 14k GoW3), just like Halo does, and SMG does. |
So you truly believe that GOW3 is going to have an attach rate in the Americas of ~60% and in Others of ~25%. Just so you know GOW 2 sold 2.5 in NA and 0.71 in Others, and you expect a doubling of sales for a game that seems too gory for most of the potential audience. I like to have crazy ideas in my head too, but I generally don't voice them on the internet.

According to vgchartz (which may be wrong), GOW 1 sold 3.21 and GOW 2 sold 2.47.
