I don't love FFX much, but "to Zanarkand" makes for a great opening and main theme. Actually my favourite part of the game ;)

^^ indeed, Final Fantasy VIIIs intro and ending are excellent even by todays standards.

When i first saw Final Fantasy 7s opening i was like... wow.

But, when i saw Final Fantasy 8 i was simply astounded by it.

FF8 wins this.
