I'm sure a few of you remember a thread I made a couple of months back, bemoaning the fact that the formerly ps3-exclusive (and in the end timed exclusive in Japan) Way of the Samurai 3 had been announced only for 360 in North America, published by UFO.

Well, it seems the ps3 version is indeed hitting the states, only published by Agetec instead of UFO.

Info began to trickle out on this first when a member on GameFAQs posted the following:

For those of you who think we are not getting a PS3 version of Way of the Samurai 3 can shine your hopes even brighter, because a couple of days ago I e-mailed UFO Interactive about a PS3 version for us.And a few hours later they e-mailed back saying the PS3 version of Way of the Samurai 3 is being published by AGETEC.

Shortly thereafter, the game popped up on GameFly, with Agetec once again listed as the publisher. They also list a release date of October 15th.

Later on in the very same thread on GameFAQs, a certain M Johnson, an apparent producer at Agetec, confirmed that Agetec is indeed the publisher of the ps3 localization, and this version will be announced at the end of this month.

It seems this has something to do with UFO not being a licensed ps3 publisher. Conversely, it seems that Agetec is not a licensed 360 publisher.

Anywho, I just thought I'd share this for the 2-3 people on here that actually care lol.

So, the game now went from PS3 exclusive to timed PS3 exclusive to 360 exclusive to multiplat
